Oven Repair

Oven, range, and cooktop repair.

Gas or electric, slide-in or free-standing, induction or radiant — we repair them all. The failures we see most: bake element, oven igniter, control board, surface burner switch. We arrive with the parts on the truck and the manometer and multimeter to prove the fix works before we leave.

What do homeowners ask about Oven Repair?

How much does oven repair cost?

Diagnostic is $89 and applies to the repair. The most common fixes — bake element, igniter, door hinge, surface switch — run $180 to $360. Control boards are $350 to $600 depending on brand. You get a flat-rate quote before we start.

My oven turns on but won't get hot enough. Why?

On electric ovens it's usually the bake element or the temperature sensor. On gas, it's almost always the igniter — they weaken with age and can still glow but not draw enough current to open the gas valve. Both repairs are under $300 in most cases.

Do you repair high-end brands like Wolf and Viking?

Yes. We service Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Miele, Bertazzoni, La Cornue, and other high-end European lines. Parts can take 2–5 days to arrive from distributors on the less-common brands; we schedule the return visit when parts confirm.

Is it safe to use the oven while waiting for repair?

If you smell gas, don't use it — shut off the gas and call us immediately. If one burner is out but others work fine, the rest of the cooktop is safe. If the control board is fritzing (random error codes, erratic behavior), turn off the breaker until we arrive.

Do you work on induction cooktops?

Yes. Induction generator boards, coil assemblies, and touch controls are all part of what we repair. Parts tend to run higher on induction than on standard electric, but the repair is straightforward on most brands.

Melissa R. Refrigerator Repair · Carlsbad

Front-loader kept stopping mid-cycle with an error code. Previous company wanted to replace the entire control board for $650. Repair Pro diagnosed a $180 drain pump and a partial clog. Working perfect again.

David K. Washing Machine Repair · El Cajon

Dryer took two cycles to finish every load. Tech walked in, knew immediately to check the vent line, cleaned 15 feet of lint out of the wall run. Saved me from buying a new dryer. Also spotted a brittle vent hose and replaced it.
