Installation

Appliance installation and hookup.

Store delivery leaves the appliance in your kitchen — we make it work. Level, hook up, test, calibrate, remove the old unit, and handle the disposal. Gas lines, water lines, dryer vent transitions, built-in trim work — all done to code with a real warranty on the install.

What do homeowners ask about Installation?

Why not just use the big-box store's installer?

You can, but the national delivery contractors skip crucial steps: leveling, water-line pressure testing, gas-line leak testing with a manometer, dryer-vent transition sealing. We've rebuilt dozens of poorly done chain installs. Our install is done once, warrantied, and verified.

Do you handle gas ranges?

Yes. Gas connections are flex-line code-compliant, shut-off valve verified, and leak-tested with a digital manometer before the range is pushed in. We document the test for your records.

Can you convert gas to electric (or vice versa)?

Sometimes — depends on existing connections. Electric-to-gas needs an accessible gas stub. Gas-to-electric needs a dedicated 240V circuit and outlet. We'll evaluate during scheduling and coordinate with an electrician if a new circuit is needed.

Can you remove and dispose of my old appliance?

Yes, with advance notice. Standard haul-away is $80 per appliance within San Diego County. Refrigerators and wine coolers with refrigerant are $120 (we coordinate EPA-compliant refrigerant recovery).

Is installation needed for a freestanding refrigerator?

Technically no — you can plug it in. But leveling matters (for door seals and ice maker drainage), and the water line needs a proper compression fitting or braided supply line to avoid slow leaks behind the fridge. A proper install is worth the $180.

Homeowners who hired us for this

Our freezer died on a Thursday morning with a full load of meat. Called at 9, they were at the house by 1, diagnosed a failed evaporator fan, and had it fixed in under an hour. Flat-rate quote up front, no upsell.

Melissa R. Refrigerator Repair · Carlsbad

Front-loader kept stopping mid-cycle with an error code. Previous company wanted to replace the entire control board for $650. Repair Pro diagnosed a $180 drain pump and a partial clog. Working perfect again.

David K. Washing Machine Repair · El Cajon

Dryer took two cycles to finish every load. Tech walked in, knew immediately to check the vent line, cleaned 15 feet of lint out of the wall run. Saved me from buying a new dryer. Also spotted a brittle vent hose and replaced it.
